Tell al-Rimah (also Tell ar-Rimah or Tell el-Rimah) is an archaeological settlement mound, in Nineveh Governorate, Iraq, roughly 80 kilometres (50 mi) west of Mosul and ancient Nineveh in the Sinjar region. It lies 15 kilometers south of the site of Tal Afar. It has been proposed that its ancient name in the 2nd millennium BC was Karana or Qattara or Razama.
